The Cottage

The Cottage is a project that is in progress. The plan is for a lovely wedding venue.

The interior walls of The Cottage at the OSSDAR Caples House Museum Complex have been painted. The next steps are floor finishing, curtains, window seat cushions and a new sign above the front door. Exciting progress!

Fall, 2014 - The Caples House Buildings and Grounds Committee decided to repurpose the former Country Store into a space that would offer more options to visitors to use this building. Re-named The Cottage, over the winter, volunteers cleared the area to begin work when the weather improved.

Spring, 2015 - Interior painting began at The Cottage mid-March!  Walls and ceilings were painted in a bright, fresh antique white. The paint crew, smiling from the back room of The Cottage, completed their work in March, 2015.
Caples House is owned and maintained by the Oregon State Society of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
