CALENDAR of Events at Cales House Museum

Sunday March 17 - ST. PATRICKS DINNER - 6:00 p.m., adult admission $20, children under 12 $10. Traditional corned beef, cabbage, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls and a brownie for dessert. Each adult meal comes with 2 tickets for an Irish Coffee or a Guinness Stout. After dinner, we will sing Irish folk songs until the leprechauns let us know that all the snakes have left the premises.

Sunday April 14 - Rescheduled VALENTINES DAY TEA - 2:00 pm. A special tea with a special visit - "Teddy Roosevelt" (actually Gregg Harris) will come and tell us all about his days as a Rough Rider and President. Adult admission $25, children under 12, $12.50. If you had a reservation for the Tea in February, your place is being held for this tea. If you can't make it, please let us know. We have started a waiting list for this tea. Please call if you would like to be put on that list.

Sunday July 7 - ICE CREAM SOCIAL - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Ice cream sundaes, patriotic music, and sing-along in the historic Caples apple orchard. A perfect summer "sundae".

Sunday September 22 - HARVEST FESTIVAL - Noon - 5:00 p.m. A historic fair with food, activities, vendor booths, cider press, silent auction, raffles and music. DAR Chapters are encouraged to donate raffle baskets.

Sunday December 8 - HOLIDAY TEA - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., admission $25 or $12.50 for children under 12. A classic afternoon tea with savories, sweets, door prizes and a special holiday program.

Saturday December 14 - CHRISTMAS SHEP EVENT - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., free everything! Lighted holiday ships sail on the Columbia River in front of Caples Museum. Free cookies, cocoa, etc., and a holiday sing-along in the Knapp Social Center.
